We got Dane from Dane And The Death Machine to join us this week. There's not one track here that I can name out and say "this is the reason why" except for Nosebleed, because Nosebleed kicks fucking ass.This is a repost from over a year ago because the episode was no longer available, and it's a great conversation with Dane about his music. Although not as good as White Pony, I definitely think its better than Adrenaline or ATF.Heres aquick review of each song. It's very heavy, swirling, and masculine.Īdrenaline Never liked it that much. It's easy to see how this one comes before Diamond Eyes chronologically. Rocket Skates? Sextape? Very classic songs.Īround The Fur I'm a big punk metal fan but I prefer the powerful ATF as opposed to the band's first endeavor. Diamond Eyes wouldn't usually be tied with a record for me. I expected nothing like it sounded, and it sounded like God bestowed his 8-string upon Stephen and was just like "play whatever the fuck you want bro." Leathers made me jump the first listen. Koi No Yokan and Diamond Eyes These tie for me. Songs like Minerva, Battle-Axe, and the ever amazing (and my favorite) classic track Good Morning Beautiful helped seal the deal.
